Mana has a very crude sense of humor and seldom takes anything seriously. Though most may not know it, she's actually a caring individual who has learned to suppress her feelings, partly because of the guilt from abandoning her brother.

History

Mana lived modestly with her younger brother and her father, who was a lumberjack. They resided in an isolated house high in the mountains. One day, a fierce blizzard trapped the family inside. When the supply of lumber was depleted, the father set out to retrieve more, and never returned. Once Mana realized that something was terribly wrong, she set out to search for him, despite the dangers. Into the storm she went searching, but a thick ivory wall rendered her eyes useless. Knowing that she could not make it back home, she took refuge in small cave. Hours passed and Mana thought that she would surely die, until she heard footsteps. The man saw Mana and rushed to her aid. She passed out, but the stranger managed to keep her warm with fire magic and took her to town. In town, Mana gained consciousness and told the man that her brother was still trapped and her father still lost in the mountains. The sage set out to search for them, but returned empty handed and couldn't even find Mana's home. Eventually, Mana was admitted into an orphanage and began to take magic lessons from the man who saved her life.
